✦ Synopsis

Imagine a society where your body is not yours, where reality shows involve violent death matches, and people of all classes enjoy affluence and sensual indulgence. Yet most are unaware of an approaching cataclysm. Diana Anderson, a young linguist, is given a glimpse into this world when contacted by a representative of a secret society possessing an ancient manuscript. She recognizes a sample as an extinct Near Eastern language. What shocks her is its origin – a spacecraft that crashed in 1908 in Russia. She discovers it is a diary of a man living in a technologically advanced society twelve thousand years in earth’s past. The doomed passenger reveals the details of his last days as a special investigator, looking into a series of mass murders among the ruling Atlantian bloodlines. Is our past our future?
