A novel monopulse antenna for a tracking radar system is proposed using the time modulated antenna array technique. The time modulation technique applied in the antenna arrays overcomes the usual need for compromise between sum and difference beams and avoids the need for implementation of two separ

Abstract
This paper presents a novel type of waveguide monopulse feeder, which has the concept of a space feed, suitable for liner phased array antenna. The design methods and measurement results of the 2βtoβ39 port feeder at Xβband are described. Measurement results show that this feeder has characteristics of the required optimum 1βD monopulse power distribution, low insertion loss and good input match. Β© 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This paper presents the measured reflected phase-variation curves for microstrip-patch elements of variable size, which form the most essential part in the design of a reflectarray antenna. A waveguide simulator exploiting the concept of infinite array is successfully implemented in the characteriza
