โฆ Synopsis
The dependence of the electromechanicai coupling coefficient (EMCC) on the size and position of the electrodes on the faces of the bodies is investigated using the examples of a circular piezoceramic plate and a cylindrical piezoceramic shell executing harmonic oscillations. It is shown that the EMCC depends in a complex way on the vibration frequency and the boundary conditions at the edges. For the piezoelectric elements considered, the position and size of the electrodes for which the EMCC is considerably greater than the EMCC for the same elements with the faces completely covered by the electrodes are obtained.
