β¦ Synopsis
The dependence of the kinetics of trapping of Brownian particles on the concentration of random sinks is studied. It is shown that competition among sinks which slows down the trapping of particles increases with increasing volume fraction of sinks. Taking account of the impenetrability of sinks speeds up the process under study as the material fraction of sinks increases.
