## Abstract Flow performance of metallocene linear lowβdensity polyethylene (mLLDPE) containing small amounts of polyethylene glycol (PEG) diatomite and diatomite/PEG binary processing aids respectively was investigated. The mLLDPE melt viscosity is increased by the addition of diatomite, but is de

β¦ Synopsis
The densities of five polyethylene giycols (ethylene giycoi, diethyiene giycol, triethyiene giycoi, tetraethyiene giycoi and pentaethyiene giycoi) at temperatures between 398 and 423 K were measured using a vibrating tube densitometer and are reported in this paper. The densities were correlated using a modified Rackett equation and a generalized correlation was developed for the homologous series of polyethylene giycois. The correlation was verified using published data on polyethylene giycois containing up to 84 carbon atoms
