The Dark Lord sat upon a throne made of bones and it was dreadfully uncomfortable. Intimidation factor, sure, but who would willingly sit on something that poked them in the ribs with other ribs?
When young Cecil seizes the day long planned to escape his family farm, his world is turned upside down in short order when he finds himself at the head of an amassing undead legion and dubbed the new Dark Lord. His work experience as a farm hand hasnt really prepared him for this kind of a promotion, and theres the nagging issue of gathering forces that see his unusual followers as a threat for some reason.
In seeking help he finds there are plenty of people to whom a nearly infinite force of perfectly loyal soldiers sounds like a grand idea. Unfortunately no one else can claim control of them while Cecil lives, but that isnt likely to stop them.
Enemies outside and questionable allies within, Cecil must find a way to get out of his predicament in one piece, hopefully without destroying the known world in the process.
