Nonparabolicity of conduction subbands in nanoscale potential wells has been probed using InGaAs/InAlAs multi-quantum well structures. From cyclotron resonance absorption at a wavelength of 119 Β΅m, the apparent mass ratio was found to be 0.061 near the bottom of the ground subband. From cyclotron re
