Jonas and his master, Elam the Pharisee, find themselves caught up in the greatest story ever told when they cross paths with Mary and Joseph, a poor couple in Bethlehem. When Jonas offers a gift to the child Mary bears that night, he has little notion of the identity of that child. Jonas will later cross paths with the man who can perform miracles, preach astounding truths about God’s kingdom, who willingly offers his life—the man known as Jesus of Nazareth.
