โฆ Synopsis
The book came out in 2002 and was certainly written before the events of September 2001. Certainly seems germane nowadays. It tries to systematically study terrorism. Its causes and its tactics. Needless to say, when I turn to the index and look up hijacking, none of the book's instances refer to the possibility of kamikazes. This is how we can tell that it was written before September 2001.The book is mostly concerned with counterterrorism methods, of course. Much of this very relevant. Practical advice that can be taken regardless of the ideologies of the terrorists. There are no real surprises here in terms of techniques. Though the book does have some insightful anecdotes about actual events.
