✦ Synopsis

The corrosion systems exhibiting discontinuous anodic polarisation curves were investigated by linear polarisation and large and small signal pulse polarlsation techniques. Corrosion rates which cannot be determined by potentiodynarnic methods and OE impedance measurements were determined. The reduction mechanism of propargylic alcohol (PA) to ally1 alcohol (ALA) was also investigated. PA is used as inhibitor, but it has not any inhibiting effect at these systems.
