The molecule (p,p)-HSC 6 H 4 CϵCC 6 H 4 CϵCC 6 H 5 has been attached to a triosmium cluster and characterized crystallographically. The complex Os 3 (CO) 10 (µ-H)(µ-SC 6 H 4 -CϵCC 6 H 4 CϵCC 6 H 5 ) (1) was obtained in 49% yield from the reaction of the thiol HSC 6 H 4 CϵCC 6 H 4 CϵCC 6 H 5 with Os 3 -(CO) 10 (NCMe) 2 .
