✦ Synopsis
A number of simple shielding and remote-handling devices for use when preparing 32P-labeled DNA are described. They can be constructed from materials that are readily available in most laboratories. The use of clear embedding resin to construct shielding blocks for handling sample tubes and 32P stock containers is proposed.
