Overview: Indian businessman Sunny Prajapati goes missing while sailing alone in the English Channel. Retired admiral Sir Simeon Marchant is blamed for selling the boat to an inexperienced yachtsman. Marchant contacts Becket, a legal investigator, to look into the case. But Marchant is murdered before they can meet. Becket is commissioned by Marchant's daughter to recover payment for the yacht. In doing so he unearths a conspiracy that goes to the heart of government and brings home to Becket some painful truths about his own past.
