✦ Synopsis

Fifty expFcrimentn1 points are presented for the concentration dependence of the binary diffusion coefficient, CD 12, of the system helium-agon at 300°K and 1 atm pressure. These-values of 9 I2 are best represented by a parabola in the mole fraction of argon, x2.

The pressure dependences of the binary drffusion coefficients of ten systems containing helium have been measured at constant composition at 300 K. The results are compared with the Thorne-Enskog theory for moderately dense gases of rigid spheres, and a previously suggested empirical extension to th
