Chromosomal polymorphism in South Indian populations of D. nasuta Lamb has been investigated. An analysis has been made of geographical, altitudinal and seasonal variation in chromosomal polymorphism in D. nasuta. The mean number of inversions shows geographical and altitudinal clines and there are
