We give necessary and sufficient conditions such that iterates or certain linear combinations of iterates of linear operators of finite dimensional range, respectively, converge. In case of convergence, we give an expression for the limit as well as estimates for the rate of convergence. Our results

✦ Synopsis
The aim of the paper is to characterize the global rate of approximation of derivatives f (l) through corresponding derivatives of linear combinations of Post Widder operators in an appropriate weighted L p -metric using a weighted Ditzian and Totik modulus of smoothness, and also to characterize derivatives of these operators in Besov spaces of Ditzian Totik type.

## Abstract Let __S__ denote the set of normalized univalent functions in the unit disk. We consider the problem of finding the radius of convexity __r~α~__ of the set {(1 – __α__)__f__(__z__) + __αzf__′(__z__) : __f__ ∈ __S__} for fixed __α__ ∈ ℂ. Using a linearization method we find the exact
A model kinetic operator is proposed, describing the relaxation of the first sixteen hydrodynamic moments of a two-component plasma with temperature anisotropy with respect to an external magnetic field. The analytical expression given for the model, taking into account only density, velocity, and t
