The line-broadening mechanism for three emission lines (510.55, 515.32, and 521.82 nm) in laser-induced copper plasma was investigated by time-resolved laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy. Two emission lines observed at 515.32 and 521.82 nm revealed a dramatic decrease in linewidth as the delay of
