The present paper describes the development of a university-based infant psychiatry program. The paper initially highlights the organizational structure of the program that involves some 20 professionals, then reports on 57 infants who presented with disruptive behavior disorders and ends by describing an innovative treatment program for fathers and an attempt to help teenage mothers in caring for their infants.

RESUMEN: El presente ensayo describe el desarrollo de un programa de siquiatría infantil establecido en una universidad. Primero, se resalta la estructura de organización del programa, la cual cuenta con unos 20 profesionales. En segundo lugar, se incluyen reportes sobre 57 infantes que presentaban trastornos de conducta. Finalmente, se describen dos programas especializados que se han desarrollado recientemente con el fin de ayudar a los padres y madres jóvenes en cómo cuidar des sus infantes. RÉSUMÉ: Cet article décrit le développement d'un programme universitaire de psychiatrie infantile. La structure d'organisation du programme où travaillent 20 spécialistes est tout d'abord mise en évidence. Ensuite sont inclus des rapports sur 57 bébés présentant des troubles du comportement. Enfin, sont décrits deux programmes spécialisés, programmes ayant été récemment développés pour aider les pères et les mères adolescentes à prendre soin de leurs enfants. ZUSAMMENFASSUNG: Die vorliegende Arbeit beschreibt die Entwicklung einer universitären Kinderpsychiatrie. Zuerst werden die organisatorischen Strukturen in denen etwa 20 Fachleute arbeiten, beschrieben. Zweitens werden 57 Kleinkinder beschrieben, die wegen Verhaltensstörungen vorgestellt wurden. Zuletzt beschreiben wir zwei programme, die zur Unterstützung von Vätern und zur Behandlung von jugendlichen Müttern entwickelt wurden.
