## Abstract Acetylenic ethers of the types RCH~2~Cο£½CCH~2~ORβ€² and RCH~2~CH~2~Cο£½CORβ€² have been converted into alkenynylides RCHο£ΎCHCο£½CNa and alkoxides Rβ€²ONa by treatment with two moles of sodamide in liquid ammonia.
