Astronauts Olivia Medici and Scott Parker volunteer for a one way ticket to the stars after an extraordinary signal is received from a nearby star. Together they are a formidable team but both harbour personal issues. Their mission takes them to Cloud Planet where they discover the Blue People, a remarkable race, who are facing extinction. As they travel across this incredible planet, Olivia and Scotts relationship blossoms but their exploits disturb the dormant Dicepterons who attack and maroon them on the planets surface. A striking female appears who has patiently waited for a response to the cry for help. Forced underground, Olivia nearly loses her life and Scott continues the journey alone with this astonishing inhabitant and learns the horrific history of her peaceful race. However, he is unaware that she is manipulating and seducing him and will do anything to save her people. The Dicepterons attack again and Scott discovers their surprising composition and apparent invincibility. Can Scott find a way to thwart the Dicepterons? Can Olivia face up to her demons in the black vortex of Hell? What are the tragic consequences for Cloud Planet and ultimately for Earth?
