One day while cleaning up her office at the Sparrow Island Nature Conservatory, Abigail Stanton discovers a stunning blue diamond necklace hidden in her desk. Who could have hidden it there and why? Abby finds out through her research that the jewel in the necklace might be the famous Blue Moon diamond, and legend has it that anyone owning the gem is doomed. Some of the more superstitious townsfolk get antsy, and it's up to Abby to find the rightful owner of the necklace and prove that the diamond isn't cursed.
