"I was introduced to Marliss Melton and her Warriors of York series when I found Slayers Redemption while searching for a good book to read. I was wonderfully surprised when I found that I really loved the book. I went searching for the next book in the series that was listed in the back. I wanted to know what happened to wild little Merry. I started reading and could not quit. Since then I have read the book a second time. Merry is such a little hellion it takes a specific kind of hero to tame her. Luke is that man. He is a knight and is so honorable that Merry gives him a real "run for his money" . He is torn between his feelings for Merry and his duty to his king and his grandfather. I love this book and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great medieval romance. It can be read as a stand alone or after Slayers Redemption for more background. Anxiously awaiting the next book in the series.
