Alec, a famous Hollywood actor, loses his wife and daughter in the nuclear attack on Los Angeles and becomes a legendary leader whose name brings fear and death to the invaders.
Written in gripping detail, this is a vivid imagining of an America staggered but not defeated and of the citizen-heroes rise to defend their families and their country.
