✦ Synopsis

An

analogy is proposed between the Bethe lattice and the Cantorian spacetime picture of quantum physics, showing that in both cases the Hausdorff dimension of an effectively quasi-fractal meanfiled theory is equal to 4. This is identical to the upper limit of the Hausdorff dimension of a branched polymer, namely 2MI(M -I), for M = 2.

The note discusses the relation between fractal spacetime, the geometry of four manifolds and squeezed states. Various experiments are proposed in order to determine the fractal Hausdorff dimension of spacetime and its relation to the dimension of the path of a quantum particle or a fractal micro ge
