✦ Synopsis

The b e t a -d e c a y of 23Β°pa was investigated with a m a g n e t i c b e t a -r a y and a scintillation spectrometer. This led to 9 g a m m a -t r a n s i t i o n s from which two possible schemes of 23Β°Th could be constructed. A positon s p e c t r u m and a negaton s p e c t r u m with m a x i m u m energies of 0.4 MeV and 0.405 4 -0 . 0 2 MeV were also observed. These results, however, are not so certain because of possible c o n t a m i n a t i o n s of fission products.
