โœฆ Synopsis

A basic theorem on the behavior of solutions of scalar linear integro-differential equations with unbounded delay is established. As a consequence of this theorem, a stability criterion is obtained.

## Abstract Using a degreeโ€theoretic result of Granas, a homotopy is constructed enabling us to show that if there is an __a priori__ bound on all possible __T__โ€periodic solutions of a Volterra equation, then there is a __T__โ€periodic solution. The __a priori__ bound is established by means of a L

This paper is concerned with the numerical solution of delay integro-differential equations. The adaptation of linear multistep methods is considered. The emphasis is on the linear stability of numerical methods. It is shown that every A-stable, strongly 0-stable linear multistep method of Pouzet ty
