β¦ Synopsis
Claire Goodwin is mad. Sheβs mad at the Midnight Clan, a group of Bear Shifters near her home in the High Mountain Reserve Park in New Jersey. Sheβs mad at her little sister for running off with one of those Shifters and leaving her family behind. Sheβs mad at the Midnight Clan for their memberβs rudeness in taking the sister away. Sheβs mad when they decide, as an apology, to pledge his younger brother Raul, to serve her family for a year as a grievance payment.
Raul is mad at everything. His young mate from another Clan has left him, virtually unheard of in the Shifter community, and left their newborn baby behind for him to take care of.
Now, Claire and Raul must live together with their mutual anger. Can romance break through their rocky start?
