โฆ Synopsis
The pattern of innervation of fibres containing AchE was examined by histochemical methods in fresh frozen sections of normal adult prostate, benign nodular hyperplasia, carcinoma of the prostate and the prepubertal prostate. Significant differences between the four groups investigated have been found.

The motor innervation of the smooth muscle coat of the human vas deferens is predominantly noradrenergic in type while a less dense and differently distributed presumptive cholinergic innervation is also in evidence, although the precise role of the latter is undetermined. Immunohistochemical studie
