✦ Synopsis

The uniform asymptotic form of the far field of a linear gravitational internal wave source which moves uniformly and reetilinearly along the horizontal in an homogeneous, horizontally exponentially stratified medium is constructed. The expression obtained enable one to find this asymptotic form for any mutual arrangement of the source and the observation point.
