✦ Synopsis


The solubilities of pure hydrates and the mixture of hydrates existing in hardened cement paste to the ethylene glycol-methanol solution, the effects of coexisting Ca(0H)2 upon the solubility and rate of dissolution of each hydrate, suitable concentration of ethylene glycol, and the limit o[ the amount of ettringite capable of being analysed in paste were investigated.

From the results obtained, the reliable analytical method for the determination of ettringite in hardened cement paste was established. Die LSslichkeit gediegener Hydrate und des Gemisches yon den Hydraten, das in erhirteten Paste auftritt, zum Ethylenglykol-MethanollSsung, die Einflu~ koexistierendes Ca(OH)2 auf die L~slichkeit und LSsungsgeschwindigkeit jedes Hydrate und Xthylenglykolsgehalt, und die Begrenzung yon analysierenf~hig Ettringit in Paste wurde untersucht. Aus die Ergebnisse, die verlassige analytische Methode zur Bestimmung des Ettringite in Zementmassen wurde aufgestellt.

A microscopic model of hardened cement paste (HCP) has been established in which the characteristics of pore, crystal, gel and bound are considered. By using Finite Element Method, the relation between microstructure and mechanical behavior of hardened cement paste is studied, and some examples are
