9637393 Development of the Swash Plate Type Continuously Variable Displacement Compressor (7SB16) Kazuhito Miyagawa (Nippondenso Co., Ltd.), Hiroaki Kayukawa (Toyoda Automatic Loom Works, Ltd.) 7SB16 is the new variable displacement compressor. It has been developed from the wabble type compressor (6CA17) and the swash plate type compressor (10PC20), which are the previous variable displacement compressors. In the development of car scats, accurate predictions of a hip-point, body pressure distribution, and load-displacement relation are important. In this study, firstly, the load-displacement relation of the urethane was analyzed using finite element method (FEM). Then this analysis was applied to car
