✦ Synopsis

We consider non-degenerate binary recurring sequences with positive discriminant, relatively prime parameters, and whose initial terms satisfy a certain divisibility condition. Assuming that the ABC conjecture is true, we show that the powerful part of the terms of the sequence remain ``small.'' In particular, such sequences have only finitely many terms which are powerful numbers.

Binary m-sequences are widely applied in navigation, radar, and communication systems because of their nice autocorrelation and cross-correlation properties. In this paper, we consider the cross-correlation between a binary m-sequence of length 2K!1 and a decimation of that sequence by an integer t.

## Abstract We present a score for testing association in the presence of linkage for binary traits. The score is robust to varying degrees of linkage, and it is valid under any ascertainment scheme based on trait values as well as under population stratification. The score test is derived from a m

In this work, the weather conditions and wind power in the eastern part of Saudi Arabia over a period of 36 years (1961}1996) are studied and modelled. The study involves temperature, relative humidity, fog, wind speed, wind power and dust storms. A regression analysis is carried out by using the li

## Abstract Electroencephalography (EEG) signals have been an attractive choice to build noninvasive brain computer interfaces (BCIs) for nearly three decades. Depending on the stimuli, there are different responses which one could get from EEG signals. One of them is the P300 response which is a v
