## Abstract The ^15^NMR chemical shifts were measured of a number of __N__โ€substituted formamides and acetamides at the natural abundance level. The ratios of the __cis__ and __trans__ isomers for several __N__โ€alkylformamides were also determined. Substituent effects on the ^15^N chemical shifts o

## Abstract The carbonโ€13 n.m.r. spectra of several oxaziridines were measured. Aliphatic and aromatic __ipso__ carbon atoms __trans__ to the lone pair of nitrogen in oxaziridines were shifted upfield by __c.__ 9 ppm, and 3.4 ppm, respectively, in comparison with isomers of inverted configuration.
