✦ Synopsis

We investigate the 15 N(α, γ ) 19 F and 15 O(α, γ ) 19 Ne reactions by using a multicluster description of 15 N and 15 O. The 15 N(α, γ ) 19 F and 15 O(α, γ ) 19 Ne wave functions are defined in the Generator Coordinate Method, using α and triton (or 3 He) wave functions. The band structure and the E2 transition probabilities are well reproduced by the model, but some resonances, important for astrophysics, are missing. The non-resonant part of the 15 N(α, γ ) 19 F and 15 O(α, γ ) 19 Ne capture cross sections is discussed.

The capture reactions 15N(c~,-y)IgF and 2°Ne(a, 7)24Mg have been studied using a windowless gas target system and a 100% relative efficiency germanium detector with an active BGO shielding. For the 15N(c~, 7)19F reaction 14 resonances have been analyzed in the range 650 keV < Ea,lab < 2650 keV, bran
