In its first year of publication, the Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (JMRI) has successfully provided opportunities for physicians, basic scientists, engineers, and imaging technologists to develop the full diagnostic potential of magnetic resonance imaging. As a peer-reviewed journal, JMRI could not have achieved this goal without the contribution of hard work and effort of its many skilled and dedicated peer reviewers. The Editor wishes to extend his appreciation and thanks to those reviewers who have made JMRI's first year a success.
