## Abstract Thrombosis is a major complication and an important cause of death in cancer patients. Tumor cells may trigger coagulation and induce a prothrombotic phenotype, which in return may enhance angiogenesis, tumor growth, and metastasis. Tissue factor pathway inhibitor (TFPI) has been report
