✦ Synopsis
The coordination polyhedron of the five-coordinate Sn atom in the title salt, (C 4 H 12 N)[Sn(C 6 H 5 ) 3 (C 14 H 9 O 3 ) 2 ], is a trans-C 3 SnO 2 trigonal bipyramid, involving two monodentate 2benzoylbenzoate ligands and three phenyl groups. The O-Sn-O unit is almost linear [O-Sn-O = 174.56 (8) ].
