The ammonia ion selective electrode method was themost practical and the most convenient one for measuring the ammonia nitrogen in methanogenic sludge. This is because of its simplicity, rapidity, high precision and accuracy, freedom from interference, small sample size, and possibility forcontinuous monitoring.
