โœฆ Synopsis

Deconvolution of electron beam measured waveforms is a signal processing procedure aiming to improve the time resolution. We have tested different deconvolution algorithms in the time and frequency domains which are more or less equally sensitive to existing noise but differ in their computing times. An improvement of the measured edge rise time by a factor of 2-6 can be achieved. We recommend two simple and fast deconvolution methods which are stable and can be applied relatively blindly.
