Terrylene in p-terphenyl represents a promising novel single crystalline system for optical spectroscopy of single impurity molecules at low temperatures. The optical spectra of terrylene in p-terphenyl show four origins in absorption and emission, indicating four crystalline sites. In one of the si

✦ Synopsis
In Sections 3.2 and 4 as well as in the captions of Figs. 2, 3 and 4 the site assignments were partially mixed up. Every time "site X3" is written in the text it must read "site X2", every time "site X4" is written in the text it must read "site X3". Site XI is correctly assigned. The line which was erroneously assigned to site X2 in Section 3.2 is probably a phonon sideband.
