✦ Synopsis

La vida de la joven Daniela Green cambia para siempre cuando su madre aparece asesinada en su propia casa. El ensañamiento del asesino hace que Scotland Yard responsabilice del crimen al que han bautizado como «el nuevo destripador». Pocos meses después la espectacular Liz entra en su vida y en la de su padre, el profesor Leonard Green. Liz no parece ser más que una vulgar arribista, hasta que encuentran al profesor maniatado y degollado en su despacho de Cambridge. El único que parece tener respuesta a tanta desgracia es Richard Chanfray, un enigmático joven que le confiesa que el profesor y él estaban investigando la posibilidad de viajar en el espaciotiempo. A partir de ese momento la vida de Daniela se convierte en una carrera contrarreloj para averiguar quién era realmente su padre e intentar que sus descubrimientos no acaben en poder de su asesino.
