β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
Observations at three stations have been analysed to determine the teperature profile of a NβS valley. The relationships between them have been classified, their frequencies tabulated, and further analyses undertaken linking these relationships to airβmass types. An attempt has been made to correct the observed values for the period under review (October 1952 to May 1954) to the twelve years' basis used by Belasco for his work on airβmass frequency. It is concluded that airβmass properties have an effect upon the relationships other than those resulting from differences of wind speed and direction, radiation, and insolation.
