โฆ Synopsis
Temperature dependences of hardness are studied for copper. silver and gold in the range of (0.2-0.9) T,. It is found that these dependences obey the exponential law, but consist of sevsz4 distinguishable regions. On deformation mechanism maps plotted in the co-ordinates of In H -1 T.
each of these regions is represented by a straight line. As a result of a general thermodynamic activation analysis the temperature dependences of the activation energy of plastic deformation are plotted for the examined metals.
The obtained values of the activation energy are in agreement with the results of other methods. enable us to determine, in conjunction with results of other research methods. the possible dominatizg atomic mechanisms of plastic deformation which succeed one another in various ranges of temperature on deformation-mechanism maps.
