โฆ Synopsis
Temperature coefficient of ultrasonic velocity as well as the expansion coefficient in polymeric materials such as mouldrite, perspex, polystyrene and styron have been determined. The transition temperature in both the cases are nearly the same. The ratio of the values of the expansion coefficient and the ratio of the slopes of the velocitytemperature curves taken above and below the transition temperature are almost same.
