β¦ Synopsis
The temperature dependence of Q factor of the thickness shear mode AT-cut quartz crystals is investigated by use of the piezoelectric resonance signal with an inductive pulse detection method. The intrinsic Q of the crystals is over 10 ~ at low temperatures and shows much weaker temperature dependence than expected.
