✦ Synopsis


The energy separation E between the terms sr2 and IAl at the ground-state crossover in Fen-N61 complexes is shown to be strongly temperature dependent.. This is consistent with a simultaneously occurring change of the Fe-N bond distance which was demonstrated. in one case. bv X-ra structure methods. It is proposed that similar results should be expeckd at the crossover ti d 4 dg, d6 and d7 , configurations.
