✦ Synopsis

In the present study various relationships, belong to the temperature dependence of elastic constants for NaCl at atmospheric pressure, are analyzed. Relationships are modified on the basis of the assumption that the Anderson-Gruneisen parameter remains unchanged with the change in temperature. It is found that the modified relationships present good agreement with the available experimental data.
