✦ Synopsis

Calculations are presented for the performance of metal-oxide-semiconductor solar cells at various temperatures by incorporating the effects of the variations in band gap and effective mass of the charged carriers in addition to the variations in intrinsic carrier concentration and absorption coefficient. A significant change in the device characteristics is obtained and the results presented here are in better agreement with the available experimental results.
