β¦ Synopsis
Small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) experiments were carried out in order to investigate an origin of a pressure-induced phase transition in a ternary microemulsion system. The observed SANS profiles from pressure-and temperature-induced lamellar structures were essentially the same, however, the concentration dependences of the lamellar spacing and the degree of the concentration fluctuation of amphiphilic molecules were different. An origin of the anisotropy of the quasi-Bragg scattering observed from the lamellar structure was also investigated.
