## Abstract In the present study, the applicability of thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) on ฮณโTiAl alloys was investigated. Two alloys with the chemical compositions of Tiโ45Alโ8Nbโ0.2Bโ0.15C and Tiโ45Alโ1Crโ6Nbโ0.4Wโ0.2Bโ0.5Cโ0.2Si were used. Before TBC deposition, the specimens were preโoxidised in
